What is required to set up a company?

To register a limited company, you will need a company name, at least one director and one shareholder (both of whom can be the same person), a service address for each company officer and a registered office address. You must also decide how many shares you wish to issue. Do I need to supply proof of ID?

Once your order has been submitted we will send personalised links to your email for you where you and any other directors or PSCs will be able to provide your ID. How many people are required to register a limited company?

Just one. You can incorporate, own and manage your limited company as a sole director and shareholder, or you can set up and run it with lots of other people. It’s entirely up to you. Simply enter the name(s) of each director and shareholder on the online application form.

How does the Business Address Service work?

The Business Address Service included in this package can be used for all day-to-day business mail. So you can use our prestigious Covent Garden, London address on your website, business cards, letterheads and more – giving your company a superb corporate image. We will forward your mail to you by scan and email on the same day we receive it at a charge of 50p per item. Any mail we cannot send by scan and email, such as bank cards, will be forwarded to an address of your choice at Royal Mail postal rates plus 15%.

What is a confirmation statement?

All companies, including non trading and dormant companies must file a confirmation statement at Companies House every year. This document confirms the information Companies House holds on a company is up-to-date. Please note: This service excludes the Companies House filing fee of £34.00. If you choose to have Rapid Formations file your confirmation statement, at the time of filing we will take payment of £34.00 using the payment card details that are stored in your account.

How does the Business Telephone Number work?

The Business Telephone Number Service helps businesses improve their corporate image by providing them with a London or regional landline number. It also includes call forwarding to the phone number of your choosing. After your company is registered, we will email you within 1 working day to set up your service.
