Rapid Formations Entrepreneur Scholarship Programme Winners

We are delighted to announce our winners of Rapid Formations Entrepreneur Scholarship Programme for 2016-2017.

  • Enzo Robinson, a Fashion Design student at the University of London.
  • Julia Murphy, a Civil Engineering student at the Herriot Watt University.
  • Kenny Molekoa, an Architecture student at the University of Kent.

Our panel of scholarship judges was incredibly impressed by the innovative and insightful business ideas presented by the four successful applicants. Their vision and critical approach to providing valuable solutions to current needs is simply outstanding. We are delighted to award a £500 grant to each student to further their business concepts in whichever way they deem necessary.

Graeme Donnelly, founder and CEO of Rapid Formations, said:

“We really didn’t expect to match the quality of applications received last year, which was the first year of our scholarship programme, but we were simply astonished at the level of response once again. It’s reassuring to know that so many outstanding student entrepreneurs are out there, each of whom possesses the dedication and insightful ability required to succeed in business.

It was certainly a challenge narrowing down the winners. However, the decision to award the scholarship to these four successful applicants was based on their potentially significant contribution to crucial gaps in the market. Their business ideas really stood out to us and we envisage great success for each and every one. Keep a close eye on these budding entrepreneurs!”

The magnificent seven!

All seven students wowed scholarship judges with their unique perspectives on business, and distinct visions as to how they could utilise their skills in order to fill crucial gaps in competitive business markets.

As a result, each student has now been awarded a £500 scholarship designed to assist with their studies and help them to further develop their own business concepts.

Graeme Donnelly, founder and CEO of Rapid Formations, said:

“We were completely blown away by the response to our first-ever scholarship contest, and that made it exceedingly difficult for our judges to select this year’s winners. But there were seven students in particular who stood out and truly exemplified the attitude and spirit we believe it takes to run a thriving enterprise in a modern, global market.

“I could not be more delighted to offer each of our winners this inaugural scholarship, and I would urge everyone to remember these seven names. I know they are going to be delivering some fantastic contributions to a wide array of global industries in the years to come.”
