When can I start trading through my new company?

You can begin trading when your application is approved by Companies House. This usually takes no more than 24 hours, depending on Companies House current workload. Should you require to register a company urgently, we offer a Guaranteed Same Day Service which can be added to your order. If you choose to start trading immediately, you must register your company with HMRC for Corporation Tax within 3 months.

Do I get paper incorporation documents with this package?

No, you get PDF digital documents only, but these can be downloaded and printed off at any time. Alternatively, you can choose the All Inclusive Package , or you can order paper documents from your customer area on our website at any time after incorporation.

What is a confirmation statement?

All companies, including non trading and dormant companies must file a confirmation statement at Companies House every year. This document confirms the information Companies House holds on a company is up-to-date. Please note: This service excludes the Companies House filing fee of £34.00. If you choose to have Rapid Formations file your confirmation statement, at the time of filing we will take payment of £34.00 using the payment card details that are stored in your account. Should you require this service separately, choose our Confirmation Statement Service .

How does the Business Telephone Number work?

The Business Telephone Number Service helps businesses improve their corporate image by providing them with a London or regional landline number. It also includes call forwarding to the phone number of your choosing. After your company is registered, we will send you an email within 1 working day to set up your service.

Do any of your packages include company address services?

Yes, the Privacy and All Inclusive Packages include Covent Garden address services.

Can I use this package to register a non-profit company limited by guarantee?

No, you can only use it to register a company limited by shares, even if you simply want to reserve a company name. If you plan to set up a non-profit organisation, you should select our Limited by Guarantee Package - this will enable you to reserve a company name and register a ready-to-trade company limited by guarantee. If you do not wish to start trading immediately upon incorporation, you will simply require contacting HMRC through your local corporation tax office to state that your new company is currently dormant.

Are there any additional costs?

If you choose to have Rapid Formations file your first confirmation statement in 12 months, the Companies House filing fee of £34.00 is not included in this package and you will require paying this amount.

Can industry professionals, such as accountants, use this package to form companies for their clients?
