Wise UK Business Account Referral

Wise is an excellent UK banking solution solution for non-UK residents. We have therefore included a referral to open a Wise business bank account within our Non-Residents' Packages. Wise offer international business banking, allowing you to send money to 160+ countries and 40+ currencies with no hidden fees or exchange rate markups.

Once your company has been registered, we will email you a link to apply for your Wise business account. You’ll need to register with some personal and business information and upload some documents for verification, plus pay a one-time fee of £45.00. If successful, you will receive your UK bank account number and sort code. Account openings are subject to approval.

Did you know there is an alternative to a UK business bank account?

Many non-resident clients open business bank accounts for their new UK limited company - in their own country. To do this, you will require getting your company documents apostilled (legalised by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office). A free apostille document referral can be added to your order in the Checkout area after you purchase either of our Non-Residents Packages.

Mail Forwarding

All official government mail (registered office and service address mail) will be scanned and emailed to you free of charge. The forwarding of general business correspondence mail will be scanned and emailed to you at a cost of 50p per item. Any items of value, such as bank card, will be forwarded to an address of your choice at a cost of Royal Mail International postal rates plus 15%.

  • Yes. You can set up a UK limited company, however, you need to be 16 years old or over and not be a non-discharged bankrupt. You will also need a UK registered office, which must be a physical address in the UK.

  • No, you can register your company using any of our company registration packages, however, the Non-Residents Packages provide you with a full set of address services that you will need to set up and run your company. They are also great value for money.

  • A registered office is the official address of a UK limited company, where all official government mail from Companies House and HMRC will be sent. It must be a physical address in the UK, however, your company does not need to carry out its business or trade from this address.

    If you don’t have a suitable UK address to use as your registered office, don’t worry, the Non-Residents Packages include a registered office, service address and business (trading) address.

  • Company directors, shareholders, secretaries and PSCs (Persons with Significant Control) are required to provide a service address when setting up a UK limited company. This address is used by Companies House and HMRC for official correspondence with company officers and shareholders.

    Unlike the registered office address, the service address does not need to be in the UK, so you can use your residential address; however, it will be placed on the public record at Companies House.

  • Your mail will be securely forwarded by scan and email on the same day we receive it to our offices. Any items of value, such as bank cards, will be forwarded to your chosen correspondence address, anywhere in the world. The cost of forwarding is 50p per item for anything sent by scan and email, and Royal Mail postal charge plus a 15% handling fee for any item which is posted.

  • If you choose to renew the three address services and the Full Company Secretary Service, the cost will be £303.00 +VAT per year.

  • Opening a UK business bank account as a non-UK resident is often a difficult process; however, we have partnered with Wise to provide our customers with international business banking.

    We have included an invitation to sign up for a Wise business bank account in our Non-Residents Packages, where you can create an account and get access to a UK bank account number and sort code, as well as local account details in 9+ currencies.

    A Wise account provides worldwide coverage, allowing you to send money to 160+ countries and 40+ currencies.

  • As soon as your company is approved by Companies House, we will send you an order fulfilled email, which will include a link to sign up for a new Wise Business Account.

  • All company formation agents have a legal obligation to verify the identity of all customers, directors and PSCs of the companies we incorporate.

    Once your order has been submitted we will send personalised links to your email for you where you and any other directors or PSCs will be able to provide your ID. The process should only take a couple of minutes and is free of charge. For more information, see here.

  • Yes. As a client of Rapid Formations, you will get free support by telephone, email or live chat for the lifetime of your company.

    You will also have free access to our Online Customer Portal where you can make changes to your company, file updates and manage your address service renewals.

  • We are company formation agents and not chartered accountants, therefore we are not able to prepare and file a company’s annual accounts.

  • The only additional costs, over and above the cost of both Non-Residents Packages, will be the forwarding costs for business mail, at a cost of 50p per item which is scanned and emailed to you. Any items of value, such as bank cards, will be forwarded at a cost of Royal Mail postal charge plus a 15% handling fee.

  • The Business Telephone Number Service helps businesses improve their corporate image by providing them with a London or regional landline number. It also includes call forwarding to the phone number of your choosing.
